Two police officers due to appear in court charged with misconduct in public office

Two Dyfed-Powys police officers are two appear in court charged with Misconduct in Public Office.

The pair, who have not been named by the force, are both currently suspended and due to appear before magistrates in Llanelli on Thursday.

A spokeswoman said: “As a result of an investigation by the Dyfed Powys Police Anti-Corruption Unit two officers will appear at Llanelli Magistrates Court on Thursday, charged with Misconduct in Public Office.

“The officers are suspended at this time. Dyfed Powys Police expects the highest standard from our officers and staff and the appropriate action will be taken to maintain these standards.”
