Ryan Sproat was spotted by bouncers taking MDMA at Tiger Tiger in Portsmouth on January 13, 2015.
A Thames Valley Police misconduct panel heard the Sproat acquired the drug in exchange for drinks.
A doorman chucked Sproat out of the club and he was arrested.
Hampshire Police didn’t charge Sproat, who was based at Loddon Valley, but the matter was referred to Thames Valley Police’s professional standards department.
Sproat was sacked without notice in front of assistant chief constable Christopher Shead following a two-day hearing.
Deputy chief constable John Campbell said: “PC Sproat’s actions were totally unacceptable as a serving officer.
“Thames Valley Police officers are expected, even when off-duty, to uphold the highest of standards and taking Class A drugs falls well outside of those expected standards as you would expect.
“All reports of misconduct are taken very seriously and will continue to be investigated thoroughly.”
It comes after a cop was sacked for having sex with a prostitute while on duty in Merseyside.
